Email: open Account Settings from the user menu (/account). Enter the new address and your current password, then click Send confirmation. The change only takes effect when you click the link sent to the new address, and you can Cancel change while it's pending.
Password: in Account Settings, under Password, enter your current password and the new one twice, then click Change password. You stay signed in on that browser and are signed out everywhere else. Forgotten the current one? Click Email me a reset link instead. If you sign in with iRacing, the account has no password yet: the same panel lets you Set password, so you can also sign in with your username and a password.
