Yes — that's how most building happens. The editor has two preview modes:
- Edit Mode — every field shows its own name ("First Name", "Car #", "Points"), so you can see what each element is bound to.
- Live Data — fills the canvas with your league's real drivers, car numbers, number art, and standings, with simulated timing on top until a real feed arrives.
Data no database can supply, such as weather or stream alerts, uses sample values. On air, an overlay shows only what the live feed says, apart from the amber DEMO tag on driver-aid widgets when nothing is connected.
